GDPR

How we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Data controller

nowyouseeme Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through the service. You can reach our Data Protection Officer at dpo@nowyouseeme.app.

Your rights under GDPR

  • Right of access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): request that we delete your personal data.
  • Right to restriction and objection: limit or object to certain processing activities.
  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

How to exercise your rights

Most rights can be exercised directly from Settings: edit your profile, export your data, or delete your account.

For anything else, email dpo@nowyouseeme.app. We will respond within 30 days as required by GDPR.

International data transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside the European Economic Area. When we transfer data, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure equivalent protection.

Security measures

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logs and regular security reviews.

If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to risk your rights, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours and inform you without undue delay.

Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, you can lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority. You can find a list at edpb.europa.eu.
